Wattage tells you power draw, not necessarily performance
Higher wattage usually means a device uses more electricity and can often produce more power or heat, but it isn't a direct stand-in for quality. Two appliances with the same wattage can perform very differently depending on design.
Capacity numbers assume ideal conditions

Checking voltage, connector types, or accessory compatibility before buying is one of the simplest ways to avoid a product that arrives and doesn't work with what you already own.
